General information

Gisopanel® is a self-supporting insulated sandwich panel for the construction of cold storage rooms, freezing rooms and climate chambers. The Gisopanel® panel is developed by Geerlofs Refrigeration. The result of decades of experience and innovation.

Due to its extraordinary strength, the insulating plate is very well suited for large spans, without costly metal structures. Gisopanel® is being applied more and more for the construction of individual cold stores, entire buildings, air-conditioned rooms and agricultural storage.

The sandwich panel consists of an insulating core out of EPS (expanded polystyrene) or PU (polyurethane) with a hot dip galvanized and coated steel plate on both sides. The environmental friendly Gisopanel® comes with a standard finish that has a core of flame-extinguishing and fire-retardant polystyrene of SE quality. For special use, such as fire-retarding of 30 to 120 minutes, the EPS can be replaced by other core materials, such as PU, PIR, perlite or rock wool.

The unique Gisopanel® messing groove-joint system ensures that the panels can be put together as cold storage rooms in separate units. The result is a damp-proof construction. Geerlofs guarantees an extremely fast construction time for this system.
